Early in the development of Primrose Sewing, the parent of a student recommended that I enter some of my items into the Williamson County Fair. I did and won my first blue ribbon! For the next three years I continued to enter items and won many ribbons. Since then, I’ve taken a step back from entering my items but highly encourage my students to enter their projects.
For projects to be eligible to enter, they must have been sewn only by the student and made within the past year. All Primrose Sewing items are able to be entered. Any threads or markings left on the item should be removed prior to entry. Items should be unused before entered, items that look worn will not place as well as items that were set aside for the fair.
Go to williamsoncountyfair.org to find the competitive events catalog to decide which categories to enter. All items must be pre-registered online prior to the drop-off deadline.
4th Grade and Under: Division 712

Youth Quilts – All Ages: Division 252
